Meet Robert Hight
Since stepping away from NHRA Drag Racing, Robert Hight has poured his competitive fire into an entirely different arena: the world of shotgun performance. What started as a curiosity quickly became a full-blown obsession. With a tool in his hand, Robert is in his element. The same mechanical instincts that took him from a crew member and racecar mechanic to a 3X NHRA Funny Car World Champion now drive his work inside a shotgun barrel.
Robert approaches every barrel with the same intensity he brought to racing. He mic’s, measures, and rechecks until everything is perfect. His eye for detail borders on surgical. If there’s a way to improve consistency, balance, or pattern quality, he’ll find it. Shooters trust him because he treats every barrel like it’s going on his own gun, and “good enough” has never once been part of his vocabulary.
